1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account information: Name and email address you use to sign up for DatumGo.
• Work order data: Customers, machines, parts, labor, problems, totals, and related billing information that you enter into the application.

Information from QuickBooks Online

When you connect your QuickBooks Online account, we access the following data via the Intuit QuickBooks API using OAuth 2.0. We request only the single scope com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting, which is the minimum needed to operate the integration:

• QuickBooks realm ID: Returned by the OAuth flow and used to address API calls to your QuickBooks company.
• Customer list: To match work order customers to your QuickBooks customers.
• Item/service list: To populate parts and services on invoices.
• Invoice creation: We create invoices in your QuickBooks account based on work order data.

We do not request the OpenID, profile, email, phone, address, or payments scopes, and we do not access any QuickBooks data outside the four uses listed above.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the DatumGo application.
• Generate invoices in QuickBooks Online from your work order data.
• Match work order customers to your QuickBooks customer records.
• Authenticate your identity and maintain your session.
• Improve and maintain the Software.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored in Supabase, a hosted database platform, on servers located in the United States. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.2 or higher. QuickBooks OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) are stored securely in Supabase and are used solely to maintain your authorized connection to QuickBooks Online. We request only the minimum OAuth scopes needed to operate the integration.

We retain your account and work order data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records to comply with legal or tax obligations.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Account access is protected by password authentication. Tenant data is isolated at the database layer using row-level security policies scoped to each organization. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information only in the following cases:

• With Intuit/QuickBooks: Your data is transmitted to QuickBooks Online via their API as necessary to create invoices and sync business data at your direction.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Service providers: With Supabase and Vercel, which host our application and database infrastructure, subject to their respective privacy policies.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Disconnect QuickBooks: You may revoke DatumGo’s access to your QuickBooks account at any time through your QuickBooks Online connected apps page, under Settings → Apps → My Apps, or by contacting us.
• Request data deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at delanklee@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
• Access your data: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

6. Cookies and Tracking

DatumGo uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics services that track you across other websites.

7. Children’s Privacy

DatumGo is a business application not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of DatumGo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
